Epic Games says it is shutting down "Fortnite: Save the World" for macOS on September 23, blaming Apple for the move.
Epic Games CEO Tim Sweeney took to Twitter to air out grievances with Apple, and try to add some context to the ongoing legal dispute with the company.
Apple will disable the Sign in with Apple feature for Epic Games as early as September 11, 2020, as the legal battle continues.
Apple has countersued Epic Games, seeking damages in what it calls a "breach of contract" related to "Fortnite".
Epic Games has officially had its developer and App Store accounts revoked, making it impossible to find the company's other apps in the digital storefront for the time being.
Among several digs at the iPhone maker is this one: "Apple does not allow Epic Games to directly refund players and instead requires players to ask Apple for a refund."
