AppleCare+ now covers two incidents of accidental damage in a 12 month span thanks to recent changes to the coverage plan.
The extended signup window is available for all Apple devices and works with the monthly payment option.
Apple is reportedly extending the time customers have to add AppleCare+ to their new device purchase, extending it from 60 days to up to a full year after initial purchase.
Apple's Services division raked in just over $13 billion in revenue in the third fiscal quarter of 2020, thanks to double-digit growth.
Customers can choose between the extended AppleCare+ protection plan or AppleCare+ with Theft and Loss coverage and pay for it month-to-month.
Apple is offering AppleCare+ coverage for the brand new iPhone SE for just $79.
